Olá! My name is Madalena and I'm Cape Verdean, born and raised soaking up the sun of Portugal. But these days, I’m calling Boston home.

I come from an artistic and solution oriented family who has a passion for carpentry, music, and anything arts & crafts.  My journey in the design world started in a Portuguese vocational high school, with a focus in graphic design and exploration in other artistic areas such as photography, film, screen printing, drawing, and wood work. In Boston, I had the opportunity to pursue my BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration where I was able to blend my fine arts background with conceptual thinking to create designs that really connect with people.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with a variety of brands, from startups to established companies, helping them make their mark in both spatial and digital spaces. I’m always on the lookout for new creative challenges and opportunities to learn and grow my skills. 

During the summer you can find me taking a rested nap in the sun and during the New England winter you'll find me successfully, or unsuccessfully, zipping down a mountain in my snowboard.
